| ½ cup butter
1 cup flour
1 ½ cups sugar
2 tsp. baking power
¼ salt
¾ cup milk
12 peaches, peeled and sliced
¾ tsp. ground cinnamon |
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Melt butter in 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
3. Combine flour, 1 cup of the sugar, baking power, salt. Mix well. Add milk and stir only until moistened. Pour over melted butter. Top batter with sliced peaches.
4. Combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; mix well and sprinkle over peaches.
5. Bake at 350°F for 30-40 minutes or until cake browns and peaches are cooked. |
