Blueberry picking at the orchard starts in July. These muffins are a sweet way to reward yourself afterward!

Blueberry and Cinnamon Muffins

Makes approximately 12 muffins

¾ stick butter (unsalted) 1 cup brown sugar ½ cup milk 1 egg 1 ½ cups flour 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon ½ teaspoon salt 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Cream together the butter and sugar. To the creamed Butter and sugar add in the milk and egg. 3. In a separate bowl mix together the dry ingredients. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet while continually mixing. 4. To the batter fold in the blueberries. 5. Fill muffin tins approximately 2/3 full and bake for 25min or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center of a muffin.
